This section helps students view the artist’s work from different perspectives and assists in developing a more critical analysis of Kahlo’s artworks.
Section 3, called Writing About Artworks covers Historical and Cultural Context, Influences, Ideas and Meanings, of Kahlo’s work, her use of Subject Matter, how she utilises the Art Elements, Art Principles and the Aesthetic Outcomes. What Materials, Techniques and Processes she uses and how Kahlo has developed her own Identifiable Art Style.
Throughout the Booklet there are a series of annotated analysis of particular artworks by Kahlo.
