In 2002, 4CATS EDUCATION released their first publication, Art Issues. Since then over 30 Art Education publications written specifically VCE Studio Arts and VCE Art have been published. Our publication focus is content driven and we strive for informative, progressive and current information.
In 2017, we move forward with the new VCAA Study Design for VCE Studio Arts. Our new textbook called STUDIO KNACK for Units 1 – 4 Studio Arts is our first full colour comprehensive guide for VCE Studio Arts students in Units 1 to Units 4.
The new Studio Arts textbook is now complemented with a series of 10 Online Video Lectures useful for both students and teachers. A short snippet of the Introduction to Galleries video lecture is available to view on this website. The full length online video lectures are available via the SHOP.
Our clearly written textbook STUDIO KNACK and our new online video lectures meet the VCAA Study Design requirements (current 2017 >) and are a practical resource designed to save teacher time and research and to lead the student to further personal research.
We aim to motivate the student to engage more easily with sometimes complex art industry issues and locate current industry information that may be difficult to find. 4CATS resources currently service over 90% of VCE providers in Victoria.
