ABOUT

ABOUT US

In 2023, 4CATS Education will celebrate 20 years of senior art education publishing. Since 2003, 4CATS have authored over 30 publications based on the VCE Art Study Designs. Our publications represent a content driven, progressive and up to date approach. We consider our responsibility is to support the learning of every student level, applying the step by step approach and enhancing learning through a range of strategies.

We aim to motivate the student to engage with sometimes perplexing art industry workings and the complex task of art analysis. We present information on current trends within the Australian art industry, discuss the ways in which contemporary artists engage in art making and the exhibition of artworks. Working directly within the Australian art industry provides 4CATS with the direct experience to present current art industry material. 4CATS resources currently service over 90% of VCE Art curriculum providers in Victoria.
